2012 Mid-Atlantic Bio Calling Company Presenters

Applications for company presentations are now being accepted for the 2012 Mid-Atlantic Bio Conference, which will take place on September 27-28 at the Bethesda North Marriott and Conference Center in Bethesda, MD.  The deadline to submit online applications is July 16.  Company presentations are one of the features that make Mid-Atlantic Bio unique. Presentations allow companies to provide prospective investors, scientists, advisors, and professional services firms from the life sciences sector attending the conference with informed insight into their product and process innovations as well as their growth strategies.

Building on our historical success, company presentations will again be offered in three tracks, providing a diverse line-up across the company life cycle. In addition to our main “Showcase” track, we are also featuring separate “Emerging Growth” and “First Look/Fast Pitch” tracks for nascent companies with exciting innovations.

Showcase companies are later-stage, established growth companies. They generally are in late-stage clinical trials and / or have revenue and could be seeking capital. Emerging Growth companies are actively seeking investment but are in earlier stages of development (up to and including clinical trials when applicable) with promising technologies or products. The First Look/Fast Pitch track provides a sneak preview at nascent technologies representing exciting innovations.

Mid-Atlantic Bio will provide a platform for these selected enterprises to share science or technologies of interest to strategic collaborators, investors, and alternative investment and partnering organizations, including patient advocacy groups in attendance.

Companies interested in presenting at various stages of growth are encouraged to submit their company information through the on-line application, which will be reviewed in a competitive process conducted by industry representatives.

As part of the 2012 Mid-Atlantic Bio program, executives from companies in the Emerging Growth track may participate in a pre-conference program that includes networking and a Fast Track webinar in July to help prepare for the formal presentations before industry attendees.
