AI BioTech Receives new $4.3 Million Government Contract
AI BioTech, LLC has been awarded a single new government contract valued at about $ 4.3 million. AI BioTech provides integrated research and development sciences and clinical testing services to physicians and life sciences investigators in biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, and in several different government agencies. AI BioTech and an industry partner will address the goals of the new contract program. While the work scope is considered classified, the program will utilize many of the existent technology platforms at both companies, and in particular, will require comprehensive Next Gen Sequence and detailed bioinformatic work.
“Government contracting at AI BioTech is a vital component of our diverse revenue stream,” said Dr. Robert B. Harris, President and CSO of AI BioTech and Program Manager for the new contract. “We continue to do highly sophisticated work for several government customers. The work load is quite diversified and engages investigators in almost all of the Company’s core platform areas.”
Added Mr. Thomas Reynolds, Executive Vice President of Science and Technology and the Scientific Director for the new program, “This new contract recognizes the expertise and experience of AI BioTech and its industry partner in performing DNA sequence analysis of complex genomes and in creating the bioinformatic background necessary to process all the resulting data. We are very excited to take on this new challenge.”
