New Officers Elected by VABIO Board
The directors of Virginia Bio elected new officers to the statewide trade association’s governing board. Michael Grisham, President, GPB Scientific Inc. was elected as Chairman replacing Thomas Thorpe, CEO, Afton Scientific who now becomes Immediate Past Chairman. Rounding out the executive committee are Jeff Conroy, CEO, Innovative Biologics Inc. as Vice Chairman; Scott Meza, Shareholder, Greenberg Traurig as Secretary,; and Andrew Krouse, CEO, Tau Therapeutics, LLC as Treasurer.
“Virginia Bio is honored to have these industry experts to lead our board of directors,” said Virginia Bio Interim Executive Director, Jeffrey M. Gallagher. “As a membership-driven industry organization, the support and guidance of people like Mike, Jeff, Scott and Andy is critically important to our mission.”
The board also elected William Stilley, CEO, ADial Pharmaceuticals to fill the seat vacated by Rob Capon.
The VaBIO board is comprised of 24 industry leaders from all regions of the Commonwealth of Virginia as well as an Advisory Board and an Academic Council.
