Phthisis Diagnostics Announces Korean Distribution Agreement
Phthisis Diagnostics, Inc. continues to expand its international marketing as PhileKorea Technology, Inc. joins the company’s distribution network.
“This new agreement with PhileKorea will be an important partnership as we continue to extend our distribution network in Asia and the world,” observed Phthisis Diagnostics President and Chief Science Officer Crystal Icenhour, PhD. “A global network will mean faster and more accurate diagnoses for patients everywhere and it will be an important factor in the growth of our company as we can bring products to a wider market.”
PhileKorea (PKT), founded in 2000 in Daejeon, supplies major university and government research facilities throughout South Korea through a network of local distributors. The company will carry the entire Phthisis Diagnostics product line, including those items being introduced to the market now and those in development.
Phthisis currently offers the E-Sphere® Simple NA Kit for easily and quickly extracting nucleic acids from various types of samples. Future products will include molecular diagnostics for parasites and fungi, as well as G-Sphere® Molecular Standards for improved laboratory quality control.
