Spectrum Releases 2008 Election Review
Spectrum Science Public Affairs and Simon & Co have released a report Election Roundup ’08: What’s next for health care. The report reviews the 2008 election results, the factors that drove voters’ decisions and the health care priorities to watch as the Obama administration and the 111th Congress begin work in January 2009.
Highlights of the report include a look at key Congressional committees and their leadership as well as the top health policy issues. These issues include: universal health care, food and drug safety, stem cell research, Medicare and Medicaid reform, biomedical research and health IT.
