Virginia Bioscience Podcast: Atlantic Research Group

This edition of the Virginia Bioscience Podcast features Paul Bishop and Lyle Camblos, the managing partners of Atlantic Research Group (ARG) in Staunton, Virginia. The two entrepreneurs founded ARG after working at several large Contract Research Organizations (CRO) and had a vision to create a CRO focused on providing clinical trial management services to small and mid-sized biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

Since its founding in July of 2005, ARG has managed more than 70 clinical trials encompassing almost 3,000 investigative sites and in excess of 40,000 subjects. The therapeutic focus of the company includes: Oncology, Immunology, Cardiovascular, Ophthalmology, Metabolic Disease, and Nephrology trials.

The host is Henry Wixon, a senior partner specializing in intellectual property issues at the law firm of WilmerHale in Washington, DC and a member of the board of directors of the Virginia Biotechnology Association.
