Virginia Bioscience Podcast: General Assembly Panel on Economic Development
This edition of the Virginia Bioscience Podcast features remarks by a panel of Virginia state legislators regarding their views on state economic development policy related to the life sciences.
The program was recorded December 17, 2009 at the Virginia Bioscience Business Roundtable, in Richmond. The event, sponsored by the Virginia Biotechnology Association and numerous national and statewide partners, was focused on the latest developments in the Virginia bioscience industry.
Participants on the panel include Senator Mark Herring (Democrat from Loudoun County), Delegate John O’Bannon (Republican from Henrico County), Delegate Mark Sickles (Democrat, Fairfax County) and Delegate Sam Nixon (Republican from Chesterfield County).
The panel was moderated by the Virginia Biotechnology Association’s Executive Director, Mark Herzog.
