Don’t Miss These Spring Talent Events

We’ve compiled a calendar of events happening this spring aimed at connecting talented people in the biosciences.
Feb. 27: Internship Support for Employers: V-TOP Staffing Agency + Matching Funds | Virtual

Employers can tune in to learn more internship support through V-TOP’s partnership with iQuasar, the statewide staffing agency and how to utilize their matching funds program.

Feb. 27th or 28th: JMU’s University Career Fair | James Madison University, Harrisonburg

Employers are able to choose one of the two days to register to attend. Students from all majors will be in attendance, with a similar level of student turnout on both dates.

Feb. 29: UVA Data Science & Analytics Career Fair | Virtual

During this year’s event, employers will have the opportunity to virtually engage with students interested in data science and analytics careers (full-time and internship roles) through one-on-one conversations and group sessions (VA Bio members receive discounted rate).

March 2nd or 9th: Fairfax County Teen Job Fair | Chantilly

The Fairfax County Teen Job Fairs are events focused on students and young job seekers looking for a variety of employment opportunities. Each year we have thousands of students and roughly 100 businesses.-Looking for companies to particpate

March 6-7: Virginia Wesleyan University Spring Career, Internship & Volunteer Fair| Virginia Beach, VA

The Virginia Wesleyan University Career and Internship Fair is a 2-day event. Select the date that best suits your needs and ngage with a variety of students and alumni from all majors.

March 19: Old Dominion University’s Career & Internship Fairs| Chartway Arena, Norfolk

The career fair is intended for students of all majors and is designed to bring together employers and ODU students and alumni to connect and engage in meaningful conversations while learning about employment opportunities that showcase their skills and experiences.

March 21: Old Dominion University’s Career & Internship Fairs| Virtual

April 10: SEC & ACC Virtual Career Fair | Virtual

Open to students and alumni, this virtual career fair allows talent to connect with a wide variety of employers via a virtual career far. Free for jobseekers and open to all majors & degrees.
